Ridge View Farm

We have purchased our dream land of 107 acres of rolling land with a pond and goat haven of lots of woods.  Here I will be showing pictures and telling of all the progress as we build our home, barn and put up fences.

this is my temporary chicken house but in the future will have a pen built around it and used as a breeding pen for the goats

We decided we wanted to raise the dam so the pond would be wider
and we wanted to put in a larger drain pipe to insure the dam would
hold all the water that runs off the hill and into the pond.





Now I can't wait to see how it looks when it rains good and fills it back up.

we have painted the fence and everything has greened up



Woo hoo progress on my hubby's shop next will come the fencing

This is a close up of the pond partially filled.  We are in the process of building the dam
up another 5 feet so the pond will be wider when full.

           
Our septic tank and field lines are now in.  Progress woo hoo!


           

We have started to stock the pond with fish now.  We added catfish,
bluegill, grass carp and minnows for now and will add
bass in the fall.
