LITTLE WISHES NIGERIAN DWARF GOAT SALES POLICY
Kid prices are firm but we do offer $25.00 discount when 2 or more go to the same home when purchased at the same time. Wethers are sometimes offered for free as companions to breeding does and bucks so don't forget to ask if we have any available.
There is no guarantee we will have any free companion wethers availabe .
When goats go to their new home it will include a care package with some food the goat is used to eating, a basic goat care sheet and an information sheet on past care of the goat. All goats go to their new homes with applications for registration with AGS and ADGA and it is your responsibility to name the goat and send in the applications with the appropriate fees. Little Wishes is our herd name with all the above goat registration organizations.
All males born not sold as a buck by 8 weeks of age will be wethered and sold at a discount to pet homes. Any bucklings born with a defect such as misplaced or extra teats will be castrated and sold with registration papers for NDGA as a wether. These make great pets for someone not wanting to breed goats and wonderful companions for breeding or showing does and bucks.
All females born with a defect such as misplaced or extra teats will be sold as unregistered pet quality at a discount price. These goats make great pets for someone not wanting to breed goats.
Any kid needing to be bottle raised can be sold by a few weeks of age to a home willing to continue bottle feeding and following my bottle feeding program till the goat is 12 weeks of age. We will not pull and bottle feed any kids at a customers request so please do not ask.
Most of our does are from show lines and carry the potential of producing show quality however we do not show our goats and can not guarantee that any of our kids will be show quality.
All kids born here are able to be triple registered, will be disbudded (unless horns are requested to be left before the kid is disbudded and a 75% non refundable deposit is put down on kid), are dam-raised (unless medically unnecessary) for the best chance of a fully developed immune system and correct muscle development. NO babies will leave the farm until they have had one C,D & T vaccination, have been wormed twice, had cocci prevention and are eating grain and hay well. This is approximately 8-12 weeks of age. The health and wellbeing of each sold goat is the buyers responsibility when the goat leaves the farm and due to care and exposure after they leave all sales are final.
Please note that Little Wishes does not require that any tests be performed before we sell a goat. If you want to have test run before purchase, they will be at the buyer's expense. Arrangements to pay for the tests though a vet must be made before they will be run. If it is a test our veterinarian must perform, then a credit card number must be called into his office before we will take the goats in to him, or a check must be sent to us to cover the expense. If a health certificate is needed to travel out of state then the buyer is responsible for the fee of $20.00 per sheet. We provide the buyer with registration AGS certificates on adult goats, or applications for registration for AGS and ADGA for kids. We will microchip goats for an additional fee of $30. This is our cost for the chips. We use AVID. In some cases, adult goats offered for sale may already be micro chipped.
Deposits of $50.00 per goat will hold your baby until weaned. Remainder of purchase price is due in cash upon pick up of goat. If a goat is not picked up by date arranged then buyer will be notified and a $2.00 a day per goat boarding/feeding fee will be charged until pickup .
Little Wishes farm reserves the right to change our minds about selling any of our kids. If this were to happen, we would provide a full refund of any money paid to us.
