 MGR REGISTERED FAINTING GOAT SALES POLICY

When goats go to their new home it will include a care package with some food the goat is used to eating, a basic goat care sheet and an information sheet on past care of the goat. They will have had their C.D&T shots and be up to date on wormings.  All goats go to their new homes with applications for registration with  MGR  and it is your responsibility to name the goat and send in the applications with the appropriate fees.  All males born not sold as a buck by 12 weeks of age will be wethered and sold for $100.00 to pet homes or per pound as meat.  All females born with a defect such as misplaced or extra teats will be sold as unregisterd pets for $125.00. 

Any kid needing to be bottle raised can be sold by a few weeks of age to a home willing to continue bottle feeding and following my bottle feeding program till the goat is 12 weeks of age.  We will not pull and bottle feed any kids at a customers request so please do not ask.

Most of our does are from show lines and carry the potential of producing show quality however we can not guarantee that any of our kids will be show quality. 

NO babies will leave the farm until they are eating grain and hay well.  This is approximately 8 to 10 weeks of age.  The health and wellbeing of each sold goat is the buyers responsibility when the goat leaves the farm and due to care and exposure after they leave all sales are final.

Please note that Ridge View Farm does not require that any tests be performed before we sell a goat.  If you want to have test run before purchase, they will be at the buyer's expense. Arrangements to pay for the tests though a vet must be made before they will be run. If it is a test our veterinarian must perform, then a credit card number must be called into his office before we will take the goats in to him, or a check must be sent to us to cover the expense.  If a health certificate is needed to travel out of state then the buyer is responsible for the fee of $30.00 per sheet.  We provide the buyer with registration MGR certificates on adult goats, or applications for registration with MGR for kids. We will microchip goats for an additional fee of $30. This is our cost for the chips. We use AVID. In some cases, adult goats offered for sale may already be micro chipped.

Deposits of $75.00 per goat will hold your baby until weaned or 2 weeks on goats already past weaning age and must be received here within 5 days of reserving a kid.  Remainder of purchase price is due in cash upon pick up of goat.   If a goat is not picked up by date arranged then buyer will be notified and a $2.00 a day per goat boarding/feeding fee will be charged until pickup . 

Ridge View Farm  reserves the right to change our minds about selling any of our kids. If this were to happen, we would provide a full refund of any money paid to us.
